Near perfect belt October 13, 2014

Got the belt yesterday and have worn it only for a day. So this is more of a first impression review. Belt is excellent and offer good value for the money esp. with first time buyer discount.

However, even after the first wear which lasted only an hour, the edge paint on top of the hole where I lock the buckle has started wearing off. The back side of the belt is very rough at some areas and it would have been better if it was sanded and made smooth to remove the protruding grains.

Anyways these are just very minor things and if taken care of, then it would be a perfect belt.

For not much more than a pressed scrap leather belt at a department store you can get a high-quality full grain leather belt that is likely to last much longer.  I am pleased with both the quality of the belt and the service I received from Orion Leather.

Shipment was very fast and I was impressed by the quality of the leather and buckle. It is a very nice solid dress belt that will age well and last for many years. My wife, who knows quality leather from working with horses (saddles, stirrup straps etc), was equally impressed and instructed me to immediately throw out my old, well known 'label' brand (made in China belt) that was rubbish in comparison.
