Excellent Finish and Work Well for Dress or Casual |

The leather's finish is smooth and doesn't scratch easily, the dark brown color matching the pictures on the web closely.
At the 1 1/4" width, the belt works well with both dress pants and casual attire (jeans, khakis, et al); whereas, you might find a 1 1/2" width belt will not fit through the lops of many khakis or dress pants.
The brass buckle is polished with a smooth texture and doesn't seem too big even with a suit.
Compared to the latigo leather, the English bridle leather is a bit stiffer, doesn't feel oily, but it still easy to bend and buckle.
While it's entirely possible to change buckles on your own, I would give this belt five stars if you had the option to select other buckle styles, such as more simple 'dress' styles.
