The belt is good quality and well-made, but it is not 1" wide but rather a bit narrower than 7/8". The difference sounds trivial, but it is definitely noticeable when the belt is worn.

Just what I was looking for

I needed a 1" belt that I could use on a pair of pants that I had purchased several years ago. The belt had to be full grain as many of the inexpensive belts I have purchased tend to break where the buckle hooks on. I wanted something that would last.
